I Love to
Learn Things 🧬

Being an educator is not my only ambition: I like to explore new technologies. This allows me to be at the edge of innovation for what concerns the didactics of computer science.

My interests span from Social Network Analysis to Making, from Virtual Reality to Artificial Intelligence.

Didactics of Computer Science with Making

In my master's thesis, I investigated how Making with devices such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino can help secondary school students in learning how to code. The document includes an extensive set of off-the-shelf lectures, ready to be used in a class setup. Lectures were tested in real-life school context and feedbacks by students and teachers had been reviewed.

Twitter Data Analysis for Financial Markets

In my bachelor thesis, which focused on social network analysis, I investigated whether it is possible to find a correlation between the trends in financial stock markets and trends on social netwoks. To find an answer to this question, I've implemented a sentiment analysis over a large dataset of tweets.

In a second moment, a scientific publication has been made over the groundings of my work.
